The Botany Aquatic Centre, located in the heart of Bayside Council, is set to undergo a major redevelopment. The facility will close during the winter of 2025 and remain closed for approximately 18 months, with the goal of reopening as a fully operational, modern aquatic centre by the summer of 2027.

The redevelopment will include the construction and enhancement of the following key facilities:

      • – An indoor learn-to-swim pool
      • – A 25-metre indoor lap pool
      • – Adventure slides and a splash pad
      • – A new main building featuring an entrance foyer, amenities, change rooms, and a café
      • – A new grandstand for spectators
      • – Landscaping improvements to the surrounding green space
      • – A dedicated health and fitness/gym area
      • – A community space with child-minding facilities

This project aims to deliver a state-of-the-art aquatic and recreational hub that meets the needs of the growing Bayside community.
