The redevelopment of the Carnegie Memorial Swimming Pool has been successfully completed, delivering a modern, inclusive, and year-round aquatic and leisure facility for the community. This transformative project has enhanced Council’s ability to meet the growing demand for recreational and wellness spaces.

The completed redevelopment includes:

        • – A heated 50-metre outdoor pool and an engaging outdoor water play area
        • – A separate diving pool with dedicated spectator areas, landscaped lawns, barbecues, and shaded seating
        • – An indoor warm water program pool and a 25-metre learn-to-swim pool
        • – Club and squad rooms to support aquatic programs and local sporting groups
        • – Fully accessible change facilities, including Changing Places amenities and group change rooms
        • – An indoor fitness room to support health and wellbeing activities
        • – A multipurpose indoor program room for community meetings and health consultations
        • – A welcoming café and social space for visitors
        • – A reconfigured car park designed to meet Council’s parking requirements
